I have injured my rotary cuff and shoulder last February and was told that most lilkely will never play tennis again. I have gone to physio and exercised as much as possible. Now it is October and for the first time the last few weeks it feels like
I will play tennis again.
I like your idea of brushing the ball and finishing the stroke. That idea makes me
hopeful. Thank you.

You are right-when you say the racket passes first most of the time.
But better it will be to say ……….allow the ball to pass your body before you hit it.
Second part is ..fall behind and then move forward.

I Oscar,

I agree with you that it does put less stress on the stepping knee but a good compromise for me is the 45% angle stance as it gives me slightly better reach, transfers my weight a little more efficiently towards the ball for better effortless power, allows me to hit deeper into the court as the swing is linearly longer, and frankly I believe it taxes your lower back better because of the efficiency of the stroke.

I met you in San Antonio a few years ago and your tips were so good that I use them in my game and teaching, especially those dealing with tracking the incoming ball.

quick start is good for tennis in general. although some people disagree in their philosophy on how to teach tennis, others will adopt it. i am one of them who believed that the new format will revolutionize tennis in our country.

i have done my own experimentation about it and came up with some provisions to which was based on actual situation on the tennis courts.

i agree to most of the salient features discussed by Mr. Wegner and I am one to support it.

I am looking forward to hearing from other coaches and instructors of their own experiences whether following the USTA concept or Mr. Wegner.

Hi Ron,

We initially went with the FLV format due to bandwidth concerns and the fact it was the easiest to set up for streaming. Since a small percentage of our demographic is using iOS we decided to encode the videos in an Apple compatible format in the coming weeks but not initially. Soon it will be available to all devices. Keep all suggestions coming!
